Calculator: your capital in euro, to the cent

The fixed rate is 1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN (Art. 5 of the Euro Introduction Act (ЗВЕРБ)), and the law allows the capital to be rounded by up to ±5% (Art. 32(5) of the Euro Introduction Act). Work out the exact figure, see the "clean" options and — if you are an OOD — the breakdown per partner.

Select an option to see the per-partner shares recalculated against it. The ±5% adjustment applies only when the company files its own updated documents — the register currently shows the automatically converted, non-rounded figure, and without a filing it stays that way.

The breakdown is indicative: in the actual procedure the rounding differences across shares are allocated so that the total equals the capital to the cent — that is what we do in the documents.

The calculation is free. The documents — €99, final price incl. VAT.

Resolution/minutes, updated articles of association or company agreement, declarations and filing by a lawyer with the Commercial Register — within 2 business days, no state fee (none is due by law).

The rules behind the numbers

How the law does the maths

Art. 5 of the Euro Introduction Act

Fixed rate, no exceptions

1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN — the rate at which every lev value is recalculated: capital, shares, nominal share values. There is no "eyeballed" rounding: the conversion is done to the cent, and only then is the correction rule applied.

Art. 32(5) of the Euro Introduction Act

Correction up to ±5%

So the capital does not stay at "€2,556.46", the law allows an increase or decrease of up to 5% — enough for a round figure. The correction cannot take the capital below the statutory minimum and cannot change the ratios between the partners.

Art. 32(1) of the Euro Introduction Act

Deadline and zero fee

The converted documents are filed for announcement by 31 December 2026 — on their own or with the next application. No state fee is due (Art. 32(4)). After the deadline: sanctions under Art. 59(5)(7) of the Euro Introduction Act and an automatic non-rounded figure.
